Whiteboard

Interactive white board technology is currently a relatively complex and expensive solution to implement. IWBs are primarily used in a variety of settings such as classrooms at all levels of education, corporate boardrooms and workgroups, training rooms for professional sports coaching, TV studios and more.

Baanto™ technology is capable of turning any surface into an interactive surface that can interface with a computer terminal, without the need for special input devices or surfaces and can also provide true multi-touch input.

Baanto™ technology is cost competitive in comparison to all current Interactive White Board implementations, whilst maintaining quality and fidelity.

A common, low cost sensor design is suitable for all white board sizes and is capable of resolving up to 4 pens simultaneously without increasing the need for computational resources or reducing system performance.

Cross-over, co-linearity and occlusion issues are non-existent due to the use of unique IDs for each pen, and frame rates of up to 240 FPS per pen are achievable.

Pen position measurements can be tracked and the resulting data calculated within milliseconds of capture to a resolution of 1mm, with no drift or calibration issues across even those surfaces greater than 80” diagonally.

Full automatic calibration eliminates installation, temperature and frame distortion issues, even if the board is moved from location to location.

Interactive surfaces across a range of applications:

-    including whiteboards
-    marketing displays
-    interactive tables
-    menu systems
-    board games
