Accurately measuring your swing speed, racket pitch, and body orientation in real time to determine whether you applied top, side, or bottom spin to the ball, translates to game action that mimics your actual tennis game, not your avatar’s pretend game. Whether your game is tennis, golf, baseball, lacrosse, or other racket and stick sports, ShadowSense™ based controllers inject a level of realism simply out of the reach of other active game controllers.

ShadowSense™ technology can support up to 6 degrees of freedom tracking: X, Y, Z, Roll, Pitch, and Yaw in real-time from multiple sources and provide absolute position tracking for each source. 2mm resolution is possible in a 10’x10’x10’ (3m3) volume with no drift or calibration issues. Cross-over and obscurity issues are non-existent.
Sensor frame rates of up to 10,000 per second per LED are achievable, and the object position can be tracked, the data calculated, and resolved into an image within milliseconds of capture. This allows real time game play with unprecedented reality.
